SinfulSunday: It’s what makes us …

Sometimes things don’t go to plan.

Unfortunately, I’ve used all the appropriate silhouette pictures on previous SinfulSundays, and had this great idea about using a USB digital microscope to take a picture of my sperm with the light behind it. The beginning of life, the start of everything, something different.

Only 200x magnification doesn’t show too much; you can make out the sperm just and nothing more …

… or even when I added red colouring and shot it as a video …

… I still failed.

But then I remembered the photo I used for my Valentine’s Day FebPhotoFest.

FebPhoto_14A quiet moment shared between lovers …

…and it’s moments like that, that truly makes Us!

  1. Experimentation is fun! Even if you don’t get exactly what you want, you often get ideas for other potential shots. That last image is so romantic and tender. The way the sun is burning behind your joined hands is both stunning and beautifully symbolic. Jane xxx

  3. That was a brave experiment… I think you need a seriously powerful lens to pull it off though

I love the image you decided to use though, the light is beautiful and the beach at sunset always seems to me to be the perfect place for lovers
